More than 25 non-clinical sessions are offered during the main two-day conference, most of them qualifying for CEU credits.  Some sessions are dedicated to the new traveler, while others cover more advanced topics. Nationally recognized tax expert Joseph Smith of TravelTax presents multiple sessions related to the unique concepts of multi-state taxes, tax homes and per diem reimbursements.  Attendees will have access to the slide presentations after the conference to reference any information they may have missed.

For those attendees who have yet to start their first assignment or are still very new to it (less than a year), we recommend Newbie BootCamp on Sunday which provides the fundamentals for those new to this unique career.  Whether you have been working in your position for 5 or 25 years, healthcare travelers have an additional set of challenges unrelated to their clinical skills. Newbie BootCamp sessions provide the basic understanding of traveling as a healthcare professional – what it takes, what’s involved and how to get started. This information is not repeated during the main conference – it provides the framework of information necessary to fully understand the main conference sessions.

There are also additional classes offered by independent instructors that will be available including a Spanish Intensive Class for Health Care Providers.  Registration fees will be separate for all optional courses, including Newbie BootCamp.
